Coffee is Uganda's top-earning export crop, and plays a significant role in rural Uganda. Northern Uganda is currently recovering from nearly two decades of civil war, where 1.6 million people were internally displaced. Access to clean water and sanitation is still a challenge for these communities.
Project Waterfall began working in Uganda in 2016 with The Costa Foundation, who have built and maintained 12 schools in coffee growing communities across the country. Project Waterfall will be working with The Costa Foundation to implement clean water facilities in the 10 PEAS High Schools which have been funded in south west Uganda.
