We’re thrilled to announce that funds raised during The New York Coffee Festival 2022 have now made their way to local implementing partners in Uganda.

Thanks to everyone who came to the festival and supported Project Waterfall we will be able to fund two projects in partnership with charity: water– one in the Masindi and Kiryandongo district and one in the Luuka district.
Our local delivery partners – The Water Trust and Water Mission – have started the extensive research and prep work needed before a project can begin. This phase of the project involves assessing the existing infrastructure and acquiring all the permits and supplies needed to start construction.

Community consultation is essential during this phase and our local partners will be designing training programs to cover sustainability, sanitation and hygiene.
Over the next six months, construction will begin and the local community will start to take ownership of the project.
