This week we’re excited to highlight one of our star supporters, 92 Degrees, who have been working with us for the past 6 years to help bring clean drinking water to coffee growing communities.
92 Degrees began their journey as the OG coffee shop and roastery in Liverpool and now have 9 stores across the UK – including their first site in London, which opened last week.
They’ve been taking part in our UK Coffee Week fundraising campaign since 2016 and were one of the first brands to join our roasters programme in 2019, donating 10% from all bagged coffee sales in-store and online to support our work in coffee farming communities.
Since they began working with us, they have raised an incredible £14,654.43 and changed over 586 lives in coffee growing communities.
We recently caught up with the team at HQ to ask about their journey with Project Waterfall so far, and what they have planned for the future:
Why have 92 Degrees chosen to support Project Waterfall?
As a trusted and dedicated charity, we chose Project Waterfall to help end the world’s water crisis; one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It’s important for us to give back to the very people and communities who make our business possible as without them we couldn’t do what we do best: coffee.
How do 92 Degrees support Project Waterfall?
Since 2016, we have participated in UK Coffee Week to raise funds for Project Waterfall. We decided to strengthen this partnership in 2019 by donating 10% of all bagged coffee sales in-store and online to the charity.
What’s in store for 92 Degrees in 2022?
This year we have big plans on the horizon! On the back of our successes in 2021, we will continue to grow and make our award-winning coffee more accessible while raising more funds and increasing awareness for Project Waterfall along the way.
How much have you raised since you started?
We’re thrilled to have raised over £14,500 since the partnership began.
How have your customers responded to the partnership?
Having a positive impact on the world means so much to our guests and customers. Our coffee does the job but donating to Project Waterfall takes the cake!
