Today, we are thrilled to announce that Project Waterfall has raised £519,184!
Over the past five years, we held true to our mission to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to coffee growing communities around the world, but we didn’t do it alone. We are continuously amazed by the passion independent coffee shops and coffee chains alike have for giving back to the communities that grow our coffee. This year, the success of our fundraising events like UK Coffee Week and The London Coffee Festival can be attributed to the hard work of our staff here at Project Waterfall, but also the incredible local baristas and shop owners who dedicated their time to our cause.
Today, Project Waterfall continues to grow and now supports clean water initiatives in four countries and eight coffee growing communities in Africa and Central America. While we are so proud of the work we have done to raise half a million pounds and fund some amazing projects, we know the work is not over until everyone around the world has access to clean and safe drinking water.
We are endlessly grateful for our supporters in the coffee industry. Thank you to all who have been engaged with Project Waterfall’s mission over the last five years. We have a bright future, and we hope you remain a part of it.
