The New York Coffee Festival raises over $40,000 for Project Waterfall

The first ever New York Coffee Festival took place last weekend and saw coffee lovers from New York City and beyond all gathered at the Lexington Armory for three days of pure caffeination.

The event included a lab program packed out with educational talks and workshops, the Coffee Masters barista competition, The Coffee Art Project exhibition and competition, live music courtesy of the finalists from The Coffee Music Project and hundreds of free coffee samples.

The festival donated 50% of ticket sales to support Project Waterfall in bringing clean drinking water to coffee growing communities. A total of $40,000 was raised across the three days which is currently on its way to the field to support a community in the coffee growing country of Rwanda gain access to clean water for the first time. Our partner in this project is the incredible New York based charity: water.
